Electropump installation guide
Before installing and starting the electric pump, read the following instructions and keep the key points in mind.
Note: Installation, electrical connection and commissioning and adjustments must be done by a skilled and competent technician who knows the local laws and standards.
Never turn on the electric pump without water.
Operating the electric pump with the outlet valve closed for a long time will damage it.
If the electric pump remains off for a long time or if the ambient temperature drops below zero, the water inside the pump must be drained.
The electric motor of the pumps does not have protection against high current (Overload) and must be protected by the appropriate panel and equipment.
The maximum number of times the pump turns on and off is 15 times per hour.
Never turn on the pump with wet hands or when your feet are in water.
Disconnect the power before doing any work on the pump.
Do not move the pump during operation.
The moving parts of the pump are protected by caps, do not remove these caps.
The fuse to which the electric pump is connected should not be exposed to splashing water, rain or any type of moisture.
The electric pump in question is designed and built to transfer clean water. Consult the company’s technical unit for pumping unclean water or water containing suspended and corrosive substances.
The maximum ambient temperature for electropump operation is 40 degrees Celsius.
The distance between the back of the fan cover and the wall should be at least 20 cm.
For information on fluid temperature, voltage, working current and working pressure, refer to the pump nameplate.
Protect the pump from moisture, dust and impact during the period between installation and commissioning.
The temperature of the engine body may reach 70 degrees Celsius during operation, so avoid touching the engine body.
Important points in the setup phase:
Make sure that the electrical connection is correct and the direction of rotation of the motor is correct.
Check the correct connection of the earth cable.
Check the cleanliness of the air inlet to the engine behind the hood.
First, close the pump outlet valve and ventilate the pump using the built-in screw.
After turning on the electric pump, open the outlet valve gradually.
